Why We Started WP Care

We kept seeing the same pattern. A business pays an agency to build a site, the agency hands over the keys, and later the site is running outdated plugins, has no working backups, and nobody knows who to call when it breaks.

We built WP Care to close that gap. We do the development work — custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce stores, integrations — and then we stay. Because we’re the ones who’ll be maintaining what we ship, we build differently: cleaner code, fewer plugin dependencies, and documentation your team can actually use.

That’s also why we take on sites we didn’t build. Most of our clients arrived with an existing site and a problem — a slow store, a hacked install, a developer who disappeared. Fixing those is a big part of what we do.
