What this WordPress llms.txt generator does
llms.txt is a short markdown map at /llms.txt (llmstxt.org). It is not an official OpenAI API. Agents use it to quote the right pages instead of a random blog post. The ChatGPT checker tells you if the file is missing. This generator drafts one from what a stranger can already see.

What is llms.txt?
A markdown file at https://yoursite.com/llms.txt that lists the pages AI agents should cite. The convention is documented at llmstxt.org. It is optional. ChatGPT search still needs OAI-SearchBot allowed in robots.txt.
Where do I put llms.txt on WordPress?
In the document root, the same folder as wp-config.php and robots.txt (often public_html). Do not put it only inside a theme. After upload, https://yoursite.com/llms.txt should return plain text.
Does AIOSEO or Rank Math already make llms.txt?
Some SEO plugins dump every URL. Agents prefer a short curated file: who you are, what to cite, and what not to invent. If this generator flags an auto dump, replace it with the draft.
Will this get me into ChatGPT search?
No. llms.txt is a map, not an index API. Use the ChatGPT visibility checker to see if OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, and GPTBot can fetch the site.
